SubCtech GmbH „Subsea Technologies for the Marine Environment“and it’s team is right now able to look back on 25 years of tradition in the subsea and marine technology for the industry, governments and scientific research.

SubCtech divides up into three main areas of operation:
- Subsea Power: → Li-Ion and → Li-Polymer battery systems (PowerPacks): this state-of-the-art technology allows the use of maximal energy capacities on the highest level of reliability by multiple redundancy designs. Housings are made of → Titanium or Carbon for depths of up to 6000m. Not only for ROVs and AUVs.
- Measurement sytems for environmental factors such as pCO2:Durable, flexible and cost-effective flow-through → AUMS (Autonomous Underway Measurement System) OceanPack especially for pCO2 monitoring on ships (also known as “FerryBox”) and → Mobile Applications. Expandable by other sensors such as our → Meteo – Top-Box for Sea-Air Exchange flux measurements.
- Consulting:
Todays markets provide more and more complex tasks and challenges. A perfect project → management and reliable consulting have become almost a necessity to enable you to get the results you are aiming for.

The new water quality monitoring system developments are financed by the Programme for the Future–Economy.
For the period 2007 – 2013, the Programme for the Future – Economy – comprises roughly EURO 704 m. for economic and regional promotion in Schleswig-Holstein, thereof ca. EURO 374 m. out of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), ca. EURO 208 m. out of the Federal/State Joint Agreement “Improvement of Regional Economic Structures” (GRW) and complementary State Funds of ca. EURO 122 m.

SubCtech was established in Jan. 2010 in Osdorf near Kiel, Germany. The following products from Contros Systems & Solutions GmbH will be continued by contract:
